Dr. Hannah Erickson, PT, DPT
Pelvic Health Specialist, Physical Therapist
Dr. Erickson joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in August of 2025.
Hannah was raised in Selah, Washington. She completed her undergraduate degree in Utah, studying Exercise and Wellness as well as gaining a secondary degree in Spanish Studies. Desiring to be closer to home, Hannah chose Oregon State University-Cascades in Bend, Oregon to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She graduated in June of 2025 and is excited to begin her new journey as a licensed PT.
Hannah’s interest in physical therapy came from a desire to make health care more accessible, particularly for those with chronic health diagnoses. After multiple experiences of feeling unheard in medical settings, Hannah decided that she wanted to be a space for those often overlooked in medicine. Physical therapy felt like a great fit to allow Hannah to not only treat but teach individuals about the power their body holds. Hannah also prides herself in focusing not just on the physical manifestations of pain, but emotional, social, and mental aspects as well. She approaches patients with a trauma-informed mindset and understands every human has an intricate background that influences their diagnoses.
Pelvic floor therapy became of intrigue to Hannah during her DPT education; during her final clinical rotation, she was able to treat pelvic floor impairments full-time. She fell in love with the niche field and knew she wanted to continue to pursue education in pelvic floor treatment post-graduation. She hopes to help patients and the surrounding community have increased access to sexual wellness tools, and help all feel more comfortable addressing this integral aspect of overall health.
Hannah and her spouse, Dakota, live in Independence with their dog Uffda. In her free time, Hannah enjoys making pottery, going on hikes as a family, reading novels, and taking trips to the coast.
